A little Italian opera...
Listen to what this man does with a few Italian words. If this doesn't make your day, I don't know what will.

Puccini ROCKS.
The only TV on at my house is SpongeBob Schwammkopf, so I am sadly, hopelessly ignorant of the context this came out of, but that guy has a voice to rock right along with Puccini.
Thanks for sharing--and how cool for the guy!
I'm so glad you liked this, Rose! I still can't watch it without tearing up.
I think the show this guy is on is similar to American Idol, but in the U.K., and this is his first audition. The judge on the right, Simon, also judges in American Idol, and is famous for his harsh criticism of contestants. Just seeing him blown away makes this video worth watching. :-)
I've seen this on another website and I was blown away!
I'd heard about this guy, but not seen/heard it—thanks for posting. My heart is racin from the emotions this bland-looking man evokes from with his singing and from the audience.
The show is 'Britain's Got Talent', and the guy Paul Potts, went on to win it in the end.
Goosebumps, goosebumps, goosebumps!
Thanks for sharing Natalie.
Danette
Beautiful, simply beautiful! Yeah, had to lean back so I wouldn't drip (tears) on the keyboard. I love that the guy's so unassuming and bashful, then opens up with that wonderful voice.
Thanks for visting, Danette!
Alison Ashley, I know what you mean--I was sure this clip was about some guy who couldn't sing. Was I wrong!
Thanks, Catherine! I did see the clip of him winning the whole thing, and already he seemed a bit more confident. It'll be interesting to see where his career goes after this. Thanks for stopping by!
Danette V. and africakid--I had goosebumps, too, and teared up every time I watched. Thanks for visiting!
